Filipino Pensacola Basketball Fall Tournament

2 Day Tournament on October 26th and 27th – Saturday
and Sunday, Hours – 8:00-6:00
Player Requirements
*Players must have Filipino ethnicity
*(New Rules) Each team is only allowed up to 2 non-Filipino/International players
*(New Rules) During the game, each team may have one non-Filipino/international player on the court at a time
Game Format
*Double Elimination format – teams are eliminated after second loss
*Games will be 13-minute halves – running clock except last 2 minutes in the 2nd half
*Free throws will be normal NBA format, 2 free throws per shooter once fouled or one free throw after a made shot from being fouled
*5 fouls per player
*2 X 30 second timeouts for each half (unused will not carry over)
*Halftime – 3 mins
*No Shot Clock! Cannot hold ball – if so teams will be warned and if continuation, other team will shoot free throw and ball back
*6 minutes in between games – once finished, warmup immediately to start next game
*3 refs total

Coach/Player Conduct
*Taunting, trash-talking, cursing, and fighting will result in flagrant fouls.
*These actions are not permitted and will be dealt with by technical foul or possible ejection!
** These rules are subject to addition or adjustments that will be published online and reflected on updated registration forms.

*Double Elimination Bracket
East vs West
Teams eliminated after 2nd lost
*Selection of games will be randomized and picked by Captains immediately after the opening ceremony to determine the bracket
Ceremony
8:00 am – Doors open
8:15 am – Prayer and singing of anthems American/Filipino

*DJ Salt to bring good live music to keep us entertained
Food
*2 Food Trucks will be selling food during the tournament
Ejelyn’s Kitchen / Johnson’s Barbecue
*Inside the gym we will be selling drinks
Water – $1 Soda – $1.00 Gatorade – $2
